Hanging my washing out to dry

Another stolen hour or so. Made some difference near the fence pulling out bindweed roots and nettles. We were both pulling out the horrible bits of plastic that were supposed to be suppressing the weeds, but weren't, and mum pulled out a big bit of carpet. Thing is, it's so sodden that it's too heavy to move, so we've hung it out to dry in the wind. Might work?!
