At last, a bit of rain. Lots of the onions are up, the potatoes are looking happier and harry the horseradish has some more shoots coming through.
However, the weeds are also thriving, the grass around the plot hasn't been cut properly, and there's a lot of "stone breaking" to do...
Last night I was busily sowing a row of purple sprouting broccoli, a row of radish and rocket (half and half), weeding, chopping away at the grass and raking over some of the already dug ground so that if I plant some stuff, it stands half a chance.
The compost doesn't look very happy - it's going to rot down eventually I'm sure, but it's not going to go fast and hot. Still, I'll just build another ring of wire fence when the first one is full up.
