Ater the rain

I'm sure there'll be more, but we had a dry day today, so I popped down, dug the remainder of a row of potatoes, weeded, got the hoe out and planted my sunflowers, leaving them to the mercies of the slugs. Which don't appear to be merciful. I'm hoping that at least one or two will still be there when I get back...

This is a courgette leaf - seems to be doing really, really well...









But the butternut squash looks a bit sad
