Progress and Potatoes

Looong time has elapsed with a bit of digging here and there - the odd few rows at the weekend when it's been dry enough.

This weekend we've made fantastic progress though. My dear husband spent some quality time hitting the clods of earth with a fork to break them up, I did a bit of raking, bit of digging and me and my mum planted two whole rows of potatoes, and that was only half the seed potatoes! Its a bit early apparently, so we've left the other half for a couple of weeks.

My impression is that a very busy time is approaching fast, and I'd better get on and plan when I'm going to plant what. Parsnips next I think!
